The
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in the Home Garden and Landscape Video Series
was created to support an IPM in the Home Garden and Landscape Hands-on
Workshop designed for Virginia Master Gardener training. However,
videos in the series may also be used as stand-alone training for MG pesticide
safety and/or IPM training. The
workshop and supporting lectures were originally developed by myself, Elizabeth
Bush. I am an Extension Plant Pathologist in the Plant Disease Clinic at
Virginia Tech. Therefore, this series focuses on plant pathogens and plant
disease, rather than insects, mites, weeds or other pest problems. However, the
pesticide information and concepts related to IPM overviewed in these videos
can be applied to other pest problems.
